SERIES 69

Cast iron solid wheels

Technical specifications

Technical specifications

Uses

Intended mainly for static uses and for high carrying capacities. The model with plain bore is resistant to temperatures from -40 C to +400°C and is, therefore, particularly suitable for oven applications. To use a castor at temperatures above 100 °C, the wheel needs to be fitted with a specific bracket for high-temperature use.

Technical features

LOAD CAPACITY: 500-1400 daN

WHEEL: solid cast iron; the wheel with plain bore is resistant to temperatures from -40°C to +400°C. To use the wheel+bracket assembly at temperature above 100°C, the wheel needs to be assembled with a special bracket

BRACKETS: NL (standard-duty), P (heavy-duty), EP (extra heavy-duty)

Environments of use

Designed for industrial environments, even in presence of medium-harsh chemical agents. Not recommended in humid environments and in presence of strong organic acids and concentrated mineral acids.

Force required to push or tow a wheel

For each load and diameter, the table indicates the force (in daN) needed to push or tow a single wheel at the constant speed of 4 km/h on smooth flooring. For manual handling of a 4-wheeled trolley we recommend diameters that have values 5 daN, for frequent handling we recommend diameters with values 3 daN.
