Castors for ESD environments

Antistatic and conductive wheels, or more generally wheels with modified electrical resistance, are suitable for use in ESD environments or wherever electrostatic charges need to be dissipated for functional or safety reasons.

Conductive rubber castors and ESD polyurethane castors

The range includes conductive rubber wheels, with electrical resistance <=10^5 Ohm and a load capacity of up to 230 kg, and ESD polyurethane wheels, with electrical resistance <=10^9 Ohm and a load capacity of up to 750 kg.

Castors for ATEX environments

Due to their characteristics, conductive wheels and ESD polyurethane wheels are sometimes used on equipment intended for ATEX environments. However, wheels are components used in a wide range of technical applications and are not specifically manufactured for equipment and protective systems. Therefore, compliance with ATEX requirements must be verified as part of the assessment of the complete product; the equipment manufacturer must ensure that the product as a whole complies with the ATEX Directive.
