Scaffolding castors compliant with EN 1004 are specifically designed for use on mobile access towers, mobile towers and mobile scaffolding used for work at height. These solutions help ensure stability, safety and reliability when moving and using mobile structures.
Our solutions undergo specific tests at TR Lab – Test & Research, Tellure Rôta's laboratory dedicated to verifying the performance of wheels and castors. The tests verify compliance with the requirements set out in UNI EN 1004-1:2021, paragraph 7.5, relating to wheels used on mobile access and working towers.
The use of wheels tested in accordance with the relevant standard contributes to the overall safety of the mobile tower. The characteristics of the wheels, castors and braking systems must nevertheless be assessed according to the structure, load capacity and operating conditions.
