Perceivable

- No prerecorded audio or video is without alternatives.

- No prerecorded video is without captions.

- No synchronized media that requires it is without descriptions or alternative versions.

- No video that requires it is without audio description.

- Information, structure and relationships conveyed through content presentation can be programmatically determined or are available in text.

- Content is presented in an order that reflects logical and semantic structure, allowing assistive technologies to interpret it properly.

- Instructions provided for understanding or operating on the content do not rely solely on sensory characteristics of components such as shape, color, size, visual location, orientation or sound.

- Content adapts correctly to screen orientation, maintaining consistent display and functionality.

- Where present, the purpose of input fields accepting specific data is properly communicated to assistive technologies and is implemented in a compliant way.

- The content is adaptable, allowing users to customise text size while retaining a fully usable interface.

- Information is presented using text, avoiding non-essential images of text that cannot be customised.

- Content that does not require two-dimensional representation reflows properly when the user’s display size changes.

- Essential components, including in different states, present a colour contrast with adjacent elements that meets a minimum ratio of 3:1.

- Changing text spacing – for line height, paragraph spacing, letter or word spacing – does not cause loss of information or content.

- There are no cases where additional content triggered by hover or focus disappears unexpectedly, cannot be closed without moving the pointer or focus, or remains invisible.

Operable

- There are no keyboard traps (it is possible to navigate freely into and out of all components).

- There is no interference with single-letter, number or symbol shortcut keys.

- There are no time-limits imposed by content, or if present, they can be controlled by the user, adjusted, extended or are justified by functional or regulatory necessity.

- All moving content, if present, has controls for pause and/or playback.

- Flashing or intermittent content at levels that could cause epileptic seizures is not used, remaining within safe limits.

- Skip-links are implemented to allow quick navigation to the main content, improving accessibility and user experience.

- Service flow screens have titles that describe their topic or purpose.

- Multiple ways exist to identify content within the environment.

- Headings and labels clarify content and functionality.

- The keyboard focus indicator is visible on all interactive elements.

- Elements that can receive keyboard focus are always at least partially visible in the viewport.

- All functionalities do not require complex gestures to be used.

- Functionalities do not start immediately on touch, can be cancelled before completion and do not require long-press to function.

- For UI components with labels that include text or images of text, the name read by assistive technologies contains the text presented visually.

- All functionalities are usable without relying exclusively on device or user motion – all functionalities are usable without needing to be dragged.

- The clickable area of interactive elements is sufficiently large to ensure usable interaction for users.

Understandable

- All parts in a language that require it are programmatically determinable.

- UI components, when receiving keyboard focus, do not cause unexpected context changes that could disorient the user.

- UI components, when activated by the user via keyboard or assistive technologies, do not cause unexpected context changes that could confuse the user.

- Navigation mechanisms present are placed consistently across the entire service flow.

- Repeated UI elements are defined consistently to facilitate identification.

- Mechanisms for requesting support or help are consistent within the environment.

- When an input error is detected automatically, the erroneous element is identified and the error is described in text.

- Where required, labels or instructions are provided when content requires user input.

- When an input error is identified and suggested corrections are known, those suggestions are provided to the user, except as provided by law.

- Systems are provided to prevent errors such as confirmation, undo or reversibility of sensitive actions.

- Where possible, we avoid requesting the same data more than once.

- When present, complex authentication systems have accessible alternatives.

- We write our content in clear and simple language.

Robust

We use standard development technologies interpretable by assistive technologies.

If present, status messages are made accessible so that assistive technologies can interpret them without requiring a shift of focus.
We have tested https://www.tellurerota.com with the most common assistive technologies in a wide variety of configurations. Operating system-browser systems:

Screen readers (such as NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on Mac and iOS) to confirm that all interactive elements are announced correctly and can be used.

- We also test screen magnification and high-contrast modes.
- We aim for compatibility with current versions of major assistive technologies.
- Our code follows the best practices outlined in WCAG 2.2 and EN 301 549 for a robust implementation, which means it should remain accessible even as technology evolves.

Standards
Based on the above, we apply the latest criteria WCAG 2.2 AA and EN 301 549 to ensure accessibility. Compliance with these standards creates a presumption of conformity with the requirements of the EAA, the ADA and other regulations based on the same technical standard
