The directional lock for EEG EHD twin electrowelded brackets is designed with a pin, enabling it to function effectively even under very heavy loads. The device is made from galvanised steel parts and is suitable for trolleys subject to mechanical towing at speeds up to 16 km/h. It can be used on both indoor and outdoor surfaces (depending on the type of wheel). It can only be fitted to brackets that provide a single mounting point for the directional lock at the recess in the mounting plate.. |

It can be purchased already mounted on castors (with the suffix DL) or separately (code 401230); see the assembly scheme.
The dimensions in the table below refer to the centre of the plate and are used to check that the trolley frame is compatible with the positioning of the directional lock, also in height.
Remove the stainless steel grub screws from the brackets designed for directional locking points using an Allen key.

Apply medium-strength threadlocker to the 3 screws in the areas marked in red.
The three screws are supplied with the directional lock, part number 401230.

Assemble the directional lock by tightening the screws with an Allen key.

Tighten the screws using a torque wrench, applying the recommended torque of 30 Nm.
